Shane is passionate about helping growers and retailers reach their full potential. He has lived in a number of regions both North and South Island working since his teenage years in various horticultural production systems.
Since completing a Bachelor Degree in Horticultural Science in 1992 majoring in plant physiology and crop management, he has enjoyed the challenge of working in technical advisory roles and managing horticultural production businesses. Shane joined the company in 2009 and lives in Hawkes Bay with his family.
He travels extensively throughout the Upper North Island sharing his passion for solving crop nutrition issues, offering growers and retailers the technical and sales support they require to maximise crop health and regional sales. Shane is passionate and interested in all things horticulture, he is a member of the NZ Institute of Ag and Hort Science and holds a CPAg; Certifitied Practising Agriculturist.
In his spare time, Shane enjoys tramping and fishing the NZ landscape with his wife, spending time with his boys, youth outreach and coaching hockey since feeling too old to play competitive hockey after playing regional representative hockey for thirty years.
